Premium embroidered knitwear for brands — logos, badges, and decorative detail on any sweater style

Lin Sweater Factory Dalang, Dongguan, China MOQ from 50 pcs

Embroidery is one of the most effective ways to add brand identity and perceived value to knitwear. A well-executed embroidered logo or badge on a sweater communicates quality in a way that printed labels or woven patches cannot match. At Lin Sweater Factory, we offer in-house embroidery on all our knitwear styles — applied after the garment is knitted, linked, and finished.

Embroidery vs other branding techniques

For knitwear specifically, embroidery has several advantages over alternative branding methods. Unlike screen printing, embroidery does not crack, peel, or fade over washing — which matters for a product category that requires regular laundering. Unlike woven labels, embroidery is part of the garment surface and cannot be removed without visible damage.

The main consideration is cost: embroidery adds USD 0.50–2.50 per piece depending on size and stitch count. For mid-to-premium products, this is usually worth it for the brand perception benefit. For entry-level products, a woven label or heat transfer may be more cost-effective.

Tip: Pair embroidery with a premium yarn like merino or a cashmere blend for the highest perceived value. The embroidery and yarn quality reinforce each other in the customer's perception.

How to brief an embroidery order

To start an embroidery project, provide: your logo or artwork in vector format, the position and size on the garment, thread colour references (Madeira, Pantone, or physical swatch), the garment style and base yarn, and your quantity. We produce a physical embroidery sample on the actual garment before bulk production begins.

Add embroidery to your knitwear

Send us your logo and garment reference. We'll produce a physical embroidery sample before any bulk commitment.
