Cotton yarn options

We source and work with several cotton yarn types depending on the product and price point: standard combed cotton (smooth, consistent, best all-round value), organic cotton (GOTS-certified, for sustainability-positioned brands), cotton-linen blend (breathable, textured, summer-weight), and cotton-modal blend (ultra-soft hand feel, good drape for relaxed styles).

Cotton knitwear styles and gauges

Cotton works well at mid-to-fine gauges (10G–14G) for lightweight spring knits, and at 7G for casual mid-weight styles suitable for year-round wear. Common styles include: fine-gauge polo shirts and collared knits, relaxed crew-neck spring sweaters, lightweight cardigans and shrugs, oversized cotton knit tops, and ribbed cotton turtlenecks for transitional weather.

Cotton knitwear is particularly popular for ODM projects where buyers want to develop seasonal collections quickly from our existing block library.

MOQ and production timeline

MOQ starts at 50 pcs per style. Sample lead time is 7–10 working days. Bulk production is 20–30 working days — slightly faster than heavier wool constructions due to the lighter weight and simpler finishing requirements.
